Michaela Sturdza

President of the Council
  • Michaela joined Groupe Eric Sturdza SA in 2011 working for the Private Bank for internal audit after few years spent in the hotel industry . At the same time, she achieved an MBA, specializing in strategic consulting, which she obtained with first-class honors.
  • In 2013, she joined Coges Corraterie Gestion SA, the independent Wealth Management company acquired the same year by the Groupe to perfect her operational knowledge through holding several positions within this business.
  • In 2017, at the request of the Board of Directors, she returned to the Bank to assist her father, Eric, in the generational handover as Head of Human Resources. She joined the Executive Board in 2018 and jointly managed the Bank alongside him. In 2021, she was named Chief Executive Officer of Banque Eric Sturdza SA and Eric Sturdza, Member of the Board of Directors.
  • In addition to her position within the bank, she led the negotiations for the aquisition of Lagane Family Office SA  which was merged with Coges Corraterie Gestion SA in 2018. She was first appointed Managing Director of the company then Chairman in 2019.
  • Closely involved with the Group’s Asset Management division, Michaela was appointed as a Director of E.I. Sturdza Strategic Management Limited in 2019.
  • Thanks to her various roles and cross-functional activities, Michaela is now responsible for developing Groupe Eric Sturdza SA alongside Eric as Chairman of the Board of Directors.
